Intake leaks

S&S manifold leak checker. Pretty easy to make. Mine is 100% grinder and hand drill made. Still need to pick up something to make sure it's totally sealed. Set  your regulator to about 10 lbs and make sure both intake valves are closed. And an old inner tube will work great as a gasket

strutter

Fender is coming along nicely. Basically SB&F strut assembly hacked up and shoved in a bobbed fender. Similar to M&B or MB products strutless fender. Still not fully sold on the swingarm frame, but I like it.

Case Cleaning

I've spent probably as much time cleaning parts to rebuild on my bike as I have actually assembling it. So far the best thing I've found is this LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner. I seen it at the dollar store and decided to give it a try. I have maybe 12 dollars in the motor using engine degreaser and carb cleaner, and about 5 bucks in the trans. Check out the pics and give it a try.

The hard plastic bristle brushes work well also

Been a while since I've updated. I'll be 24 tomorrow. Should be riding the shovelhead next week as long as all my orders come in. Oley was cool, but mostly way overpriced. Not much of a budget builders swap meet. Blah blah

Rockers

Shovelhead and Evo side by side comparison. Buyer beware. Hopefully this can help someone.

Here you can see the Evo's are about 1/16" longer and has a different oil hole

Evo is closer to camera. Notice oiling difference

Evo closer to cam. Krylon paint does wonders fingernails

Evo closer to cam. Evo's are nos HD and the shovel are CCI. Couldn't find any nos shovelhead but what's sad is nobody makes any stock replacements in USA anymore.

risers

Looking for info on these. 2" rise and 123 stamped in one and 46 on the other. Really solid and no metric shit. I thought they were stock Softail but I'm not sure. phillipkavanaugh@yahoo.com or comment

Found this at one of the swaps in Daytona. Very similar to the Anderson type and the only marking is the HA on the bottom. Looking for for some info and it's mate. Thanks phillipkavanaugh@yahoo.com
